Sanctuary Acknowledgment

The Hero Church is a sanctuary community organized under 508(c)(1)(A) of the Internal Revenue Code. Participation in our community is not a commercial transaction; members make good-faith donations in exchange for access to sacrament, teaching, and fellowship.

Membership

Membership is open to adults eighteen (18) years of age or older who affirm a sincere intention of conscious wellness and mutual respect. We reserve the right to limit or end membership where required by law or by the welfare of the community.

Donations and sacrament access

Sacrament access is offered to members in exchange for donations that sustain the sanctuary. Donations are voluntary and are not purchases of goods or services. Standalone donations are non-refundable except where required by law; shop orders are covered by the order terms below, including replacement or refund when something goes wrong.

Orders, shipping, and payment

When you place an order through our shop, you confirm that you are eighteen (18) years of age or older and that the shipping address you provide is accurate. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Orders ship via common carriers to the address you provide; risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier. Shipping rates and timing are shown at checkout. We may decline or cancel an order where the law of the destination, a payment problem, or the welfare of the community requires it — declined orders are not charged, and cancelled orders are refunded in full.

Issues with an order

If your order arrives damaged, is incorrect, or does not arrive, write to [email protected] with your order number and we will make it right — by replacement or refund. Because sacrament is a consumable good, we cannot accept returns of opened items except where required by law.

Prohibited uses

Members must not redistribute sacrament, misrepresent their age or intent, or use the sanctuary for any unlawful purpose. Violation of these terms ends membership.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which The Hero Church is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
